I consider myself a Jack-of-all-Trades. My interests are expansive and I love challenging myself to learn and do more. I have been obsessed with photography since my days in the high school darkroom and continue my love affair today.

 

I traveled across the country and back working as a Physical Therapist specializing in pediatrics, always with my camera in tow. Now firmly rooted in New England with my wonderful husband, beautiful children, sweet dog, and a few crazy cats. I decided it was time to refocus on my passion for photography and started my own busniess.

 

Purple Opal Photography is founded on the idea that everyone should be able to afford professional photography. My style aligns itself best with photojournalism with an artisitic flare capturing the truth of a moment. I strive to create an inviting and fun loving atmosphere for all my clients. I provide a mobile service bringing the studio in to my clients homes or on location. It is my belief that people should have the rights to freely share their cherished moments with friends and family.

 

When I am not behind the camera, you can find me tending the garden, building something with power tools, or lounging at the beach with the fam.
